Trust & Security
This page is maintained by the AlgosEdge team to answer common security and privacy questions about how the AlgosEdge site and customer area work. It is editable project content and is not an independent certification or audit.
Accounts & authentication
Customer accounts use email and password or sign-in with Google. Passwords are never stored or seen by AlgosEdge — they are handled by our managed authentication provider.
Sessions are issued as short-lived tokens and refreshed automatically. You can sign out at any time from your account page.
Access control
Customer accounts can only see their own profile and the products they have been granted access to. Administrative actions (granting product access, managing files) require an admin role that customers cannot self-assign.
Customer data
We store the minimum information needed to operate your account: your email, optional name, your purchases/product access, and download activity required to deliver files.
Database access is restricted by row-level security so each request can only read or modify rows belonging to the requesting user.
File downloads
Product files (EAs, guides, configs) are kept in a private storage bucket. Download links are short-lived and only generated after we verify that your account has access to the matching product.
Traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
Email & subprocessors
Transactional email (order confirmations, password resets, contact replies) is sent through our email delivery provider. We do not sell your email address or share it for third-party marketing.
Hosting, database, authentication, and storage are provided by our cloud platform partner. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.
Data retention & requests
Account and purchase records are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to support refunds and recordkeeping.
To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at our contact page. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Shared responsibility
AlgosEdge operates the application and account controls described above. Our cloud platform partner is responsible for the underlying hosting, authentication, database, and storage infrastructure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, keeping your account credentials private, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
AlgosEdge has not been independently certified against frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI DSS, and statements on this page should not be read as such a certification.
Report a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please reach out via our contact form and include steps to reproduce. Please do not publicly disclose the issue before we have had a chance to investigate.
